Please help encourage & pray for Joe Weigel- a wonderful husband, loving father, and Gulf War veteran who was diagnosed in September with chronic mylogenious leukemia (CML).
Unfortunately, the medications that Joe has been taking have not been effective in treating this very aggressive form of leukemia. In the coming weeks, Joe will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
As Joe recovers from the transplant, which will require weeks of limited contact (to avoid the risk of infection until his body can rebuild its immune system) please help us raise funds to assist with living and medical expenses. It will take a lot of people. It will take a lot of help. But we can do it!
Please consider leaving kind words & encouragement on the blog as this amazing family endures the uncertainty of what lies ahead, of hospitals & treatments -leaving everything behind to fight this arduous battle against leukemia.
